Granny was pregnant with Guiseppa Maria. Unfortunately Grandfather died before she was born. They are all dead now but the family continues to grow around the world.
This page is dedicated to their memory and for all they have given.
FAMILY HISTORY
My Canale Ancestors originated in Italy, supposedly Rome and in the Florence region. However our branch comes from Cervaro, Province of Frosinone, which is about 70 miles south of Rome.
My Grandfather met my Granny in Scotland and settled in Montrose, where they were in the confectionary business, owning several shops plus the Trail Cafe on the beach front. They had a large family who in turn moved to live in many different parts of the word. USA, Brazil, Canada,Australia, New Zealand as well as England Scotland Ireland and Wales.
Granny
was a D'Agostino before her marriage and had a beautiful singing
voice. With her two brothers and their father they toured Europe
as a musical troup.
Her brothers Philip and Vincent emigrated
to America in the Connecticut area. She had another brother ..Domenic
but I don't know what happened to him. Her side of the family came
from Villa Latina, over the mountain from Cervaro.
